Donate to us today and join the fight to end hunger and tackle food waste in our community.

FareShare South West is a small independent charity which relies entirely on donations and grants to keep doing the work we do. We receive no statutory funding whatsoever, so your support is vital for us.  When you donate, you join the fight against food waste and hunger in our society.

We can do a lot with a little at FareShare South West. Every pound you donate helps us provide four meals for people in need across the South West. Donating just £10 per month allows us to deliver 480 meals to our charity members. You might fund a child’s breakfast at a Breakfast Club, a hot meal for a homeless person, or a roast dinner for an elderly person’s lunch club.

If you are a UK taxpayer please consider Gift Aiding your donation to FareShare South West. Gift Aid increases the value of donations to UK charities, by allowing them to reclaim 25% in tax on your donation. This means that if you donate £10 with Gift Aid, it’s worth £12.50 to the charity. If you pay higher rate tax, you can claim 20% extra relief on your donations.

Every pound you donate helps us provide four meals for people in need in the South West

Support us today to help us continue to provide schools, charities and community groups with quality surplus food.

The food waste hierarchy calls for food to feed people first

Food companies are legally obliged to use food to feed people before sending to anaerobic digestion or for animal feed. We help them use their surplus to feed people first.
