Every £1 you give rescues food for 4 nutritious, healthy meals. That’s good-to-eat, quality food that would otherwise go to waste, and now will support one of over 300 charities, schools and community hubs across the south west.

“There are a lot of people that need food that’s affordable right now. Some places will get frozen foods in, but we always use the fresh produce from FareShare South West. People come down, they have a hearty meal, and then they’ll go home and just have a sandwich for their tea. I’ve really loved it down here because it’s just the heart of the community.” – Chef Morgan, Rose Cottage, Twerton

Morgan is wearing a baseball cap and a black apron in a brightly coloured kitchen. He's chopping fresh vegetables and looking directly at the camera with a soft smile.

FareShare South West joins the dots between food waste and food insecurity, using food to build community resilience for lasting social impact.

We rescue quality surplus food at scale directly from the food industry and share it with charities, schools and community hubs to support health, dignity and routes out of poverty for people across the south west. Our supportive volunteering and employability programmes support people to thrive.

FareShare South West is an independent local charity, working in partnership with the national charity Felix who support us with food, projects and campaigning for an equitable, sustainable food system.

Our vision is a future where no food is wasted, and all people can thrive.
