    GL11 Community Hub

    GL11 Community Hub provides a wide range of vital services to the local community. Every day they run a community cafe which provides affordable food and a welcoming atmosphere. On Thursdays, they run their community lunch club, which is especially important for elderly people as a chance to socialise and eat a healthy, home cooked meal. FareShare South West provide weekly deliveries to GL11 for the cafe and for other food needs such as food parcels.

    FareShare is the only charity to take food from the wholesale level of the food industry

    The vast majority of surplus occurs before food even gets to the supermarket. Each member of the FareShare network rescues that food and delivers it to those in need. FareShare Go is our supermarket collection service, which deals with supermarket-level surplus.
