What will your legacy be?

With the climate crisis ongoing and the cost-of-living forcing ever more people into poverty, many of us understandably find ourselves worrying about the world we will leave behind for our loved ones.

Leaving a gift to FareShare South West in your will means your memory can live on in the millions of meals shared every year with the support of people like you.

“I’m not skipping meals as much anymore. I have three kids and it’s me who doesn’t eat if there’s not enough. Being a member gives me an extra bit of breathing space. I’m not worrying as much. With the co-op weekly delivery, I always have a meal before pay day.”

No matter how large or small your gift – even 1% of an estate after loved ones are looked after – means you can help join the dots between food waste and hunger not just now, but beyond your lifetime.

Every pledge is a step towards a better future for the planet and the people in it.

Three young men stand in a warehouse setting. The person on the far right is closest to the camera. He is wearing a black t-shirt under a yellow high vis vest and a black cap with a logo on. He is turned towards the camera with a smile and his hands are on a green crate. The middle man is wearing a blue jumper under an orange high vis vest. He is smiling at the camera and pointing. The person on the left is wearing a black t-shirt under a yellow high vis vest and resting his hands on a crate and a box as he smiles at the camera. There is shelving and stacks of crates in the background

If you’ve decided to leave us a gift in your will and you are comfortable sharing that with us, we’d love to hear from you. Please email georgia.langley@faresharesouthwest.org.uk to get in touch with us.

We warmly extend an offer to all pledgers to visit any of our three hubs for a private tour behind the scenes of our operations. This small gesture represents our enormous gratitude to you for committing your support to a future where no food is wasted and all people can thrive.

Tonnes of the food that goes to waste each year is still edible
