At FareShare South West, we rescue food from the food industry that would otherwise go to waste and share it with charities, schools and community groups to create lasting social change.
Get involved
Collaboration is fundamental to what we do. By partnering with businesses, food suppliers, innovators and high-powered individuals, we’re able to support our community to thrive. But we need to do more. Through your support, we can rescue more food, share it with more people, and develop sustainable solutions that benefit everyone.
Do you want to be part of better for the south west?

“The partnership has been brilliant. For me it’s not only fundraising, it’s being able to create events where people feel engaged, they feel more connected with their workplace, and all the other intangible benefits of bringing people together to support good causes. I feel really proud of doing that.“ – Harriet Davis, IOP Publishing
Types of partnership
Corporate support partnerships
Your corporate support could take a variety of forms, from corporate volunteering and internal fundraising to long-term financial support. Corporate partners benefit from regular impact reports, opportunities for their teams, and demonstrable commitment to their values to engage employees.
Financial supporters
Charities like FareShare South West receive very little statutory income, and rely on fundraising to deliver essential support. If you want to invest in a future where no food is wasted and all people can thrive, our Giving Team will be happy to discuss our strategic plans and how a gift might be used.
Food partnerships
Many of our food suppliers combine sharing their surplus food with a broader corporate relationship, embedding that values-led charity commitment into their company culture through volunteering and fundraising.
In-kind support
Do you provide services that a charity like FareShare South West could use? Servicing our fleet, maintaining our buildings, providing safety equipment to our volunteers: these all take up valuable funds.
Pro bono support
Your expertise might be beyond our budget. By sharing your skills and knowledge – for example in IT, marketing, design, or logistics – you could help us to innovate and continuously improve.
Ambassadors
Your local network could include likeminded people who also want to be part of better. If you could champion our work and help spread the word, we need to hear from you.
