“We are honoured to support FareShare South West through the HL Foundation. This partnership is not just a corporate initiative – it’s a heartfelt reflection of what matters to our people. Our colleagues nominated and voted for FareShare South West themselves, drawn to the incredible work it does to tackle food insecurity and redistribute surplus food across our region.”
Types of corporate partnership
Together, we can create a bespoke partnership that is tailored to your capacity, values, and CSR/ESG objectives:

Financial support
Help to rescue and redistribute more quality food by providing the critical financial support that makes our work possible.
Charity of the Year
Engage your staff network to immerse themselves in our work. Bring your ideas or ask us what’s worked well in the past, and we’ll develop a calendar of events with you, from bespoke fundraising events and festive activities to Lunch and Learns and group volunteering. We’ll support you to achieve your CSR goals, and provide you with powerful and personalised impact reporting and branding opportunities.
Sponsorship and brand collaboration
Join our Wall of Fame, or co-develop other impactful campaigns with us – we’re open to creative ideas! It all means meaningful visibility for your brand in connection to essential community support.
Payroll giving
Make it simple for your team to make tax-free donations by giving through their salary. You can set this up via a payroll giving agency, giving your people a simple, tax-efficient way to give back.
Food partnerships
Share your surplus or donated food with us, and combine this with a wider partnership. We can work with you on on-pack branding, per-product-sold donations, customer checkout donations, and also support your employees to act as ambassadors, fundraise and volunteer with us.
In-kind support
Support us with the services we crucially need. We’re a logistics operation with the same needs as any for-profit food distributor: fleet servicing, building and equipment maintenance, safety equipment for our volunteers and much more.
Pro bono support
Provide the professional skills and expertise that might be beyond our budget. Opportunities include marketing and graphic design, press and media, IT, accounting and project management.
Event fundraising
Team fundraising events are a great way to raise funds. From runs, cycles, hikes and inflatable obstacle courses to bake sales and our flagship abseil event, there are so many different ways for people to get involved.
When your employees fundraise for us, you can choose to match every pound raised to show your support.
Point of sale
Add a small optional donation from your customers when they check out. Some of our partners have chosen to match their donation. Every £1 rescues enough for for 4 meals!
Share your professional drivers
If your business employs professional drivers, we’d love to welcome them as volunteers to drive our vans. When a volunteer is unexpectedly unavailable, this kind of support is invaluable. Could you pledge 20 driving shifts a year to support us when we need you? Unfortunately, we’re only able to offer this to those with professional driving experience.
“For me it’s not only fundraising, it’s being able to create events where people feel engaged, they feel more connected with their workplace, and all the other intangible benefits of bringing people together to support good causes.
“As a publisher, as a business, the social and environmental goals align with ours. They’re close to the hearts of the people that work here. The partnership has been brilliant.”
Corporate volunteering
Businesses who support us as a partner will always be offered corporate volunteering opportunities as part of our partnership.
For other corporate groups, we kindly suggest a £50 per person donation per shift to reflect the work our teams will put into your experience, and ensure your contribution goes as far as possible. We’re happy to review this with you if it’s a barrier to you volunteering.
