“We are honoured to support FareShare South West through the HL Foundation. This partnership is not just a corporate initiative – it’s a heartfelt reflection of what matters to our people. Our colleagues nominated and voted for FareShare South West themselves, drawn to the incredible work it does to tackle food insecurity and redistribute surplus food across our region.”

“For me it’s not only fundraising, it’s being able to create events where people feel engaged, they feel more connected with their workplace, and all the other intangible benefits of bringing people together to support good causes.

“As a publisher, as a business, the social and environmental goals align with ours. They’re close to the hearts of the people that work here. The partnership has been brilliant.”

Businesses who support us as a partner will always be offered corporate volunteering opportunities as part of our partnership.

For other corporate groups, we kindly suggest a £50 per person donation per shift to reflect the work our teams will put into your experience, and ensure your contribution goes as far as possible. We’re happy to review this with you if it’s a barrier to you volunteering.

The food waste hierarchy calls for food to feed people first

Food companies are legally obliged to use food to feed people before sending to anaerobic digestion or for animal feed. We help them do that.
