Could you benefit from free, easy support to harvest your surplus?

Thanks to funding from Defra’s Tackling Food Surplus at the Farm Gate fund, FareShare South West is now running gleaning projects across the region.

“It got to the stage over the last few years where most of the fruit wasn’t picked and just fell on the ground, which doesn’t do the soil any good. When we discovered you could use them, and for such a useful reason, we were only too delighted for you to come.”

Free, simple service

If you have good-to-eat produce that won’t otherwise be harvested, we can help. Our teams of volunteers will bring all their own equipment, and make the process easy for you with minimal impact on your time.

Sustainable

No one likes to see good food go to waste. If your surplus won’t be sold, we’ll support you to glean it.

Supporting local people

FareShare South West works with a network of charities, schools and community groups – which means your quality, nutritious food will go where it’s needed most across the south west.

Can we support you to rescue food from the farm gate?
