Alzheimers Support provide services to those suffering from dementia and their families. Their award-winning service is vital for some many in the region. They collect orders of food each week from our Chippenham collection point and use it to make healthy, nutritious meals for their service users.

Grant Newton, Head of Day Care, says: “The partnership with FareShare has been fantastic for Alzheimer’s Support. It has meant our day club members get a nutritious and tasty home cooked meal at a fraction of what this would normally cost us. Lunch is a focal part of the day in our clubs and being able to serve such a delicious lunch helps everyone to socialise and eat well. Having access to such a wide range of fresh ingredients has helped our staff and volunteer chef come up with varied and interesting menus.  It is a great example of cooperation between organisations coming together for mutual support and we are so pleased to be part of the scheme. Our dementia day clubs in Devizes and Trowbridge have benefited so much from this scheme in the past three years and we are looking forward to continuing the partnership and providing delicious lunches at our new club in Warminster.”
