As part of an expansion plan funded by the Big Lottery Fund and the ASDA foundation, we are delighted to announce three new full-time job opportunities available in our staff team.

FareShare South West forms part of the national charity FareShare, the UK’s largest food redistribution charity. FareShare has 21 regional centres across the country, and from our Bristol warehouse we provide food to over 170 charities schools and community groups. As a network, we are currently only distributing 5% of the surplus food out there. We want to get to 20-25% over the next three years. To drive this, we are looking for more motivated individuals to join our small staff team.

FareShare is the only charity to take food from the wholesale level of the food industry

The vast majority of surplus occurs before food even gets to the supermarket. Each member of the FareShare network rescues that food and delivers it to those in need. FareShare Go is our supermarket collection service, which deals with supermarket-level surplus.
