We are over the moon to announce that we smashed our fund raising target for our Big Breakfast Appeal- raising over £5,000 from the public in a matter of weeks! 

A HUGE thank you to everyone who supported us. We are very grateful for your generosity, which will allow us to do so much more. The funds will be used to supply schools in the most deprived areas of our communities with food for Breakfast Clubs, After-School Clubs, food parcels and Holiday projects. 

Providing one school with food for an entire year costs us just £1,000. That could be enough to provide food to 100 children who are at risk of hunger. Our aim is to get food into networks working directly with the most vulnerable families in our community. With FareShare food provision, a local family experiencing food insecurity could receive access to a free Breakfast and after school food for their children every day at their primary school, food parcels to help through tough times, and meals at a holiday club to help out when schools close. 

We are now looking to expand this provision right across Bristol and Bath, working with local authorities and partners to provide a joined up approach to the issue.
