One in four Bristol children are at risk of hunger. Help us change that.

No child should go hungry, but for many this is a daily reality. This Autumn we are calling on our city to help us change the picture with our Big Breakfast Appeal.

Together, we can change the picture for children in need in our city and region. During our Big Breakfast Week, we’re getting together with Bristol business leaders, top chefs, school partners and more to raise awareness about child hunger. As a small charity which relies on local donations to survive, we need all the support we can get.

Donate to our appeal today to help us do more.

Schools in the most deprived areas of our communities see children arriving every day who are tired, hungry and unable to learn. Our charity works to get quality food to over 20 priority primary schools and 30 holiday projects in Bristol alone for Breakfast Clubs, After School and Holiday Clubs, as well as emergency food parcels for struggling parents. If we can get more good food into the networks that matter, more vulnerable children and their families can be supported through tough times without going hungry.

Donate today to help us do more- your money will go further than you think:

£5 a month could enable us to provide food for 15 children every day for an entire year.

£20 enables us to provide 80 breakfasts for children at risk of hunger.

£1,000 enables us to support a school for an entire year, supporting on average 60 children and their families at school, at home and during the holidays.

The food waste hierarchy calls for food to feed people first

Food companies are legally obliged to use food to feed people before sending to anaerobic digestion or for animal feed. We help them use their surplus to feed people first.
