FareShare Grows its Support

August 18, 2014

The great work that FareShare South West has benefitted communities across the region has blossomed in the last year and more organisations are receiving more of the redistributed food than ever before. Slowly but surely, the number of organisations that regularly receive food from us has doubled, and the current grand total is now 129.

Originally we were delivering only to organisations in Bristol. Bath came next, swiftly followed by Gloucestershire, North Somerset and Somerset and, most recently, Wiltshire.

Between them the 129 organisations support people in every life situation including elderly people who enjoy a great lunch together, children at school who receive a good breakfast to start the day or people who need support to help them with addiction or homelessness.
